Moving in Noyac
Noyac is the quiet, wooded hamlet wrapping the north shore between North Sea and Sag Harbor, along Noyac Bay and the Peconic. It has a low-key, locals’-favorite feel — bayfront houses and beach cottages along Noyac Road and Bay Avenue, woodsy year-round homes set back among the trees, and the golf-community homes around the Sag Harbor Golf Club. The moves here split between year-round families and second-home owners on the water, and the through-line, as everywhere on this shore, is access.
Noyac Road is the spine of the hamlet, and the homes branch off it down narrow lanes toward the bay — some short and steep to the water, some long and wooded. A full trailer cannot work most of these, so we run shorter trucks and shuttle the load when a bayfront drive is too tight or too soft. The beach cottages right on Noyac Bay bring sandy, sometimes-eroded access and tight lots, and we bring the right crew and equipment for it.
Golf-Community and Bayfront Homes
The homes near the golf club and a few of the bayfront associations may require a Certificate of Insurance before a move, and our office clears it ahead of time. We stage the carry so a truck never blocks Noyac Road or a one-lane spur for the afternoon.
Loading Help, Crating, and Storage
A lot of Noyac owners only need the muscle — we load and unload pods and rental trucks by the hour. For full moves, we crate the fragile pieces and inventory in writing, and for the second homes that close after the season, we store the contents climate-controlled and redeliver in spring.
