Do you run your own trucks, or is this farmed out?
It is all in-house. Is there anything your crew turns down?

Each move rides on $1M of cargo liability, with full-value protection available on top, generally 1–3% of the figure you declare. Our crews are bonded and carry general liability and workers’ comp. The moment a gated community, HOA, or waterfront association asks for a COI before they raise the gate, Eleanor squares it away with their management ahead of the deadline they hand us.
Do I need to be present for the whole move?
Having you on hand at both the pickup and the delivery helps, particularly where a gate wants a name signed in, yet if the day slips away from you a trusted caretaker or relative can step in just fine. Whoever is there, the crew logs each item as it loads onto the truck and checks that same list back off as it carries inside.
If my plans shift, does moving or scrapping the date cost anything?
Give us 48 hours’ notice or more to cancel and you owe nothing whatsoever. Pushing to a different day is free as well, so long as a crew is open when you need one. East End summer dates disappear in a hurry, so the sooner you get in touch, the better our chances of pinning down the window you are after.
What are my payment options?
Settle up whichever way is easiest — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover, plus debit, a certified check, or plain cash are all welcome. Holding the date costs nothing up front. The balance comes due only at delivery, after you have looked the load over and signed off, never a minute sooner.

Basic released-value coverage at $0.60/lb rides along on every job at no cost. Spot anything amiss? Flag it for the crew chief before the truck pulls off and it goes onto the day’s inventory right then, with the bulk of claims settled comfortably within the roughly nine-month window we hold open.
