Hampton Bays is where the East End feels most like a real town, and it is home turf for us — our owner grew up here. You have year-round neighborhoods, the canalfront and bayfront houses along Shinnecock Bay and the Peconic, the marina districts, and a steady flow of seasonal renters coming and going. The moves here are a mix: families relocating within town, share houses turning over, and second-home owners on the water.
Because Hampton Bays is more residential than estate, a lot of our work is straightforward four-bedroom and two-story home moves on normal streets — and we love them, because they let us do what we do best without the gate-and-COI dance of the eastern villages. That said, the canalfront and bayfront properties off Canoe Place and Tiana bring docks, bulkheads, and tight waterside lots that need a careful approach.

Anyone who lives here knows the Shinnecock Canal and the summer backups on Montauk Highway as it pinches down through the bays. We dispatch around those bottlenecks so the truck is loaded and rolling before the worst of the traffic, especially on summer Fridays and Sundays when the canal bridge and the highway crawl.

Hampton Bays sees a lot of seasonal-rental turnover, and we handle the fast in-and-out moves between tenants, plus the loading help for owners who only need the muscle for a pod or a truck they rented. When a second-home owner closes up after the season, we store the contents climate-controlled and bring them back in spring.
